
So where is the best place to watch the Blue Angels et al perform? Crissy Field, the small hill near Pier 39, and the roofdecks of Marina apartment buildings will likely be the most crowded spots. Also, the bay is likely to be filled with chartered boats, which in itself is interesting to see. Unfortunately, because of structural instability on the Piers, the box seats this year will be crowding the front of Marina Green. But for $25 you can grab a reserved seat there yourself.
